Karen L. Baird engages in various modes of consulting and community work around HIV prevention, health policy, women and health policy, social justice, and general research and evaluation. She provides diverse types of services to community-based organizations (grant writing, research, data collection, implementation and evaluation, etc.). She has a commitment to improving the lives and circumstances of the most vulnerable among us.
She is also an activist for social justice issues of all types. Presently, Karen is involved with developing Occupy University a new learning structure premised on horizontal learning and education for empowerment. “Classes” of all types will be offered.
